In our cleanroom services, we’ve focused on finding practical, high-impact ways to reduce environmental impact while maintaining the quality and reliability our customers depend on. Sustainability requires a smarter way of working that creates long-term value across the entire lifecycle of our products and services.
Designing sustainability into our cleanroom operations
Environmental responsibility in cleanroom operations has become essential. Resource use, waste generation, and emissions are all under growing scrutiny. That’s why we’ve designed our textile and consumable services around sustainability from the ground up, as an integral part of the way we operate, instead not as an afterthought, but
Our textile service model is built on lifecycle extension. Goggles and other reusable materials are collected after use and put through an evaluation process. Items are inspected for wear and damage. Those suitable for reuse are professionally repaired and cleaned to meet cleanroom compliance standards, before being returned to the customer. This approach allows each textile to remain in service for as long as possible, and significantly reduces the need for replacements and the environmental footprint associated with production and disposal.
To support this, our operations continually integrate process improvements and end-of-life (EOL) solutions that reduce resource consumption, energy use, and waste generation. Through careful planning, material expertise, and controlled workflows, we’ve achieved a system that minimizes impact without compromising compliance or reliability.
This thinking also extends to cleanroom consumables. When these items reach the end of their usable life, they are no longer simply discarded. Through our Second Life Program, we offer a structured return and recovery pathway. Used consumables are collected, sorted, and assessed for reuse in secondary applications or repurposing into new materials and products. By doing so, we reduce landfill volumes, avoid unnecessary CO₂e emissions, and create more value from materials that would otherwise go to waste.
This approach focuses on reuse, process efficiency, and responsible EOL handling, and allows our customers to operate cleanrooms with full compliance while advancing their own sustainability targets. It also reflects our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of cleanroom operations across the entire product lifecycle.
