We take pride in our sustainability efforts, as well as our network across Europe and beyond. But you might ask, how do those two work together?
With 2 offices and a warehouse strategically located in Europe, we operate from a central hub that enables efficient distribution across multiple countries. From this location, we carefully select transport modes and routes to minimise environmental impact while safeguarding the integrity of your cleanroom consumables. Every decision is made with both sustainability and GMP‑aligned reliability in mind.
Today, we're proud to say that 100 % of all our shipments are GHG neutral, including truck, sea and air transport. This means that, after we have reduced emissions wherever technically and operationally feasible, we compensate the remaining footprint to achieve greenhouse gas neutrality across our logistics chain.
We start with the cleanest option: electric or GHG‑neutral vehicles, wherever available and suitable for the route and load. This helps reduce direct tailpipe emissions and supports a structurally lower carbon footprint for recurring deliveries.
If GHG‑neutral vehicles are unavailable, we power trucks with HVO, a renewable fuel that can cut lifecycle emissions by up to 90 % compared to conventional diesel, while maintaining the reliability needed for time‑critical pharmaceutical and biotech supplies. Our 2024 pilot avoided 41 t CO₂e: equivalent to driving an average car around the world five times!
Ocean and inland waterway routes are prioritised whenever lead times and product requirements allow. Sea freight can emit 10‑20× less CO₂ per tonne‑kilometre than air freight, making it a powerful way to reduce transport‑related emissions without compromising product quality or regulatory expectations. When air freight is necessary, we still account for and neutralise the associated GHG emissions.
By integrating these measures into our daily operations, we ensure that an expanded logistics network does not mean an expanded footprint. Even when we span borders and countries, we keep a clear destination: making sure we provide you with safe, compliant and sustainable cleanroom environments, supported by transparent, future‑oriented transport choices.
