Simple but impactful - our sustainable achievements

Since 2023, we’ve reduced our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 65 tons, thanks to the integration of heat pump technology at our Heerenveen facility. This innovation significantly cut our reliance on natural gas, proving that even small changes in infrastructure can have a big impact.

Going beyond

Our commitment didn’t stop there. In 2024, we began offsetting our residual gas consumption, complementing our 100% green electricity policy. Together, these initiatives put us well on our way toward GHG emission neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. To extend our impact, we also offset emissions from business travel and employee commuting, reducing Scope 3 emissions and ensuring sustainability is embedded across all aspects of our operations.

Building a sustainable fleet

Transportation plays a vital role in contamination control logistics for cleanroom environments. That’s why we’ve prioritized building a fully sustainable fleet. By increasing our electric vehicle share to 55% and reducing diesel vehicles by 85% last year, we’ve taken major strides toward cleaner mobility. Looking ahead, we now only lease electric vehicles, with a clear goal to eliminate all combustion engine vehicles by 2028.

On step at a time

From facilities to fleets, each initiative demonstrates how simple but impactful actions can drive meaningful change. These achievements not only reduce emissions but also strengthen the sustainability of cleanroom strategies in pharma and life sciences, ensuring that contamination control goes hand‑in‑hand with environmental responsibility.

One initiative, one vehicle, one facility at a time.
