Ecovadis Gold Medal for STAXS GROUP

In June, STAXS The Netherlands received a Gold EcoVadis Medal, and now we can proudly announce that the entire STAXS GROUP, covering our operations in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, has been awarded another EcoVadis Gold Medal. This recognition reflects our continued commitment to sustainability, across all our activities.In this new assessment, EcoVadis adjusted our industry categorization when evaluating the entire STAXS Group. Although we operate in both wholesale and manufacturing, they placed us in the Manufacturing industry.

Why? Because categorization is based on the industry with the highest potential sustainable impact, using the International Standard Industrial Classification. This approach allows EcoVadis to consider where our activities can most significantly influence environmental, social and ethical performance, and to benchmark us against peers facing comparable challenges and expectations. In practice, this results in a more accurate evaluation of our sustainability risks, opportunities and management systems, and ultimately in a more meaningful and comparable assessment.

The result speaks for itself. We received a score of 81/100, placing us in the top 1% of our industry category and the top 5% across categories worldwide. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and daily efforts of our teams across all countries and operations, from cleanroom processing and logistics to customer service, quality and sustainability management. It confirms that our structured approach is delivering tangible outcomes.
